LightHouse employees celebrate 10 Years!

LightHouse employees celebrate 10 Years!

Many things change at LightHouse, as we focus on efficiency and innovation in this fast paced health care environment, but a lot of things remain the same. We have been gifted by great employees that come to LightHouse, and stay for a long time. We try very hard to be deserving of that gift.

“We have been gifted by great employees that come, and stay for a long time.”

Here is what some of our employees have to say about LightHouse:

Tiffany Owens, BS

Admissions Team Manager

“I came to LHI 10 years ago with the benefit of 2 relationships and then I got to know the ladies in this picture with me….and every caregiver thereafter. We have been so fortunate in attracting the best caregivers in this field. It has been my absolute privilege in building relationships with them. I have watched them get married, have seen their children grow up, supported them in other ventures and welcomed them back, and just listened when I needed to.

The success of LightHouse is dependent upon the relationships that we build with each other, our patients, our community, and our caregivers. It is these relationships that have been my Light at Lighthouse.”

Sandra L. Alderman, MBA-HCM

Senior Reimbursement Manager

“10 years ago I came to LightHouse as a new graduate and only had about 2 months of homecare experience. I was welcomed into the family at LightHouse and built a great relationship with the other wonderful ladies in this picture. We have all grown together in our time here at Lighthouse and have learned a lot from everyone who works here. After being here for 10 years, I feel that I am able to answer questions from caregivers and families with ease and confidence based on the knowledge that I have picked up over the years.  Everyone makes it wonderful to work here and you learn something new every day. “

Judy C. Taylor, RN

Home Health Nurse and Care Manager, Prince  William County

“Working at LightHouse for the past 10 years has been the greatest work experience of my life. Melissa and Wendy not only treat us like a family member, and have always been there for me, always supportive in all work situations. One of the best things about working at LightHouse is how much they truly care about our patients, as if they were their own mother, or father or grandmother or grandfather. “

Alina Russell, PT

Home Health Physical Therapist, Fairfax County

“Between my 10-year anniversary, Physical Therapy Month, My Secret Lighthouse Keeper, etc.– I feel like every day is my birthday with Lighthouse! Thanks for all the appreciation…”

…..“Working with LightHouse has been like working with a big extended family– you know there is always someone available to answer your questions, give you advice, and steer you in the right direction. I came to LightHouse with zero home health experience and 10 years later I feel like I can walk into any home, see any patient and give them the help they need. Not only that, I’m confident in the fact that I know my fellow clinicians will also give my patients the best care possible and that we will work together as a team to get that done!

What will your story say?
