Location:  Offices in Reston and Springfield, VA .  Sales territory will primarily be Northern VA.
Job Type: Permanent
Hours / Schedule:  Up to FT, but flexible.  Must have availability to respond and meet with clients when requested.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities include:
Responsible for all sales and customer service activities from lead generation through close in an assigned territory. Becomes the leading home care expert and transitional care specialist in our community.  Develops and implements the Sales and Business Plan which will meet both the personal and business goals of expanding market share. Works with the sales and administrative staff to achieve service excellence and create world class experiences for our patients, families, and physicians.
  • Responsible for the sales and marketing of home health services in the territory.
  • Educates our community on how home care can improve  patients’ lives and educates clients about managing their illness at home.
  • Demonstrates technical selling skills and service knowledge that allows for effective formal presentation.
  • Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to referral sources for various solutions to their everyday issues.
  • Uses the CRM/database to organize and manage relationships, referrals sources and marketing activity.
  • Invests in networking and communicates regularly with caregivers and care team members that care for patients in the assigned territory.
  • Participates and contributes to the development of educational programs offered to the community, referral sources, and LHI employees.

  • 2-5 years in the home health industry or other related sales position.
  • Positive Attitude
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Willing to travel and work in an assigned territory working with a wide array of health care professionals.
