Dear Colleagues,

Your voices have been heard!  Many of you contacted Congress, sending more than 50,000 letters to your lawmakers.  As a result, nearly 200 Members of Congress have called for reconsideration of a proposed regulation that threatens to deeply cut Medicare home health funding.

It is now critical that the White House hear from us.

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has submitted a final version of the proposed rebasing rule to the White House, where it is now under review. To prevent further cuts to home health, please act now and send a letter to President Obama to ask his Administration to protect seniors’ access to low-cost, high-quality home healthcare.Thank you again for your time and support — you are making a difference!Sincerely,
Eric Berger

What Are the Proposed Cuts?

In June, CMS proposed to cut Medicare home health funding by a total of 14% over the next four years.  The proposal would cut an estimated $21.5 billion from the Medicare home health benefit on which 3.5 million homebound seniors and disabled Americans depend.

How Can I Help?

Thank you for your support!  You can also send a new letter to President Obama.  It’s important for the White House to understand our concerns and the impact of these proposed cuts on the nation’s home health community.
