As part of our ongoing commitment to educate our caregivers and the public about Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia, LightHouse Healthcare, Inc. graduated five new caregivers from their 16 hour Dementia Training Course, led by by Cathy Tate, RN.  Sponsored by LightHouse’s Personal Care Services Team,  this 16 hour interactive workshop is designed to provide information, communication tools and techniques, and caregiving skills to help  caregivers bring light to dementia sufferers, and help them remain in a place of compassion, love, and acceptance.

“We have been receiving wonderful feedback from our home care  aides, caregivers, and families on how the program has helped to improve the quality of life of  loved ones and their caregivers,” states Tracey Domzalski, Director of Private Duty Services.
